• the length of the contract

In terms of installation, many broadband packages come with all the necessary equipment and instructions needed to enable customers to set up the broadband connection themselves. If, however, you are too keen on taking the DIY approach and want the guarantee of a secure connection, you can pay for a qualified technician to carry out the installation for you.

Cable companies and providers of broadband phone/TV bundles usually charge a fee for an engineer to come out and install the services in your home.
