Broadband Contracts
When comparing broadband packages and prices, it is important to consider the length of the contract as this will have a bearing on the monthly cost of the service.
Most broadband providers offer 12 or 18 month contracts as they help ISPs offset the costs of offering other services as part of a package. Some ISPs specialise in providing smaller contracts of 3 months, which are particularly popular with students and people living in rented accommodation.
As with other contracts, cancelling your contract before the end of the contractual term will result in a cancellation fee. Before agreeing to a deal, make sure you read the terms and conditions of the contract, including details on termination charges.
