The W8501 is not only a mobile phone and superb music player, but also features a personal trainer function, a digital camera, a photo album and a web browser - all packed inside a cool, contemporary casing that weighs less than 100g.

The 2.0 megapixel camera supports video recording and playback, while the advanced connectivity features of Sony Ericsson W580i include GSM, EDGE and Bluetooth. This slim slider handset also features a QVGA screen.

As expected from a Walkman-branded phone, the music player is the main feature of the W850i, providing superb sound quality and includes all the premium Walkman features such as TrackID, TrueBass, Graphic Equalizer etc. It's supplied with everything you need to transfer your music from your PC to your phone. In addition, there’s even a stereo hands-free headset included, along with an FM radio.

The Sony Ericsson W580i comes with 12 MB shared memory and supports 512MB of bundled memory card. Messaging features include SMS, MMS and emails, plus there's an internet connection for browsing.
