Sagem has convinced both Orange and T-Mobile to take on its latest my501C clamshell.
The device boasts both a 1.3 megapixel camera with 8x digital zoom , video functionality and Bluetooth, Once opened, you can get the fuller picture with the 1.8-inch, 128x160 pixel display in 65,000 colours. The phone also has a solid, if not groundbreaking, set of features, including an MP3 player that can also play tracks in the Apple-friendly AAC format, along with dedicated music navigation keys. Storage is an initial 32MB, which can be boosted via micro SD cards.
The handset will go on sale with T-Mobile and Orange for around £90 on prepay before the end of the month. For the open market Sagem has launched the my501x, which is a bar-style handset carrying the same feature set.
