T-Mobile Opens Up Three Samsung Flip phones

Wireless operator T-Mobile has launched three new Samsung clamshell-style mobile phones desined to appeal to a broad range of everyday cell phone users.

The small, colourful flip phones give consumers the freedom to communicate with those who matter most through voice, messaging and multimedia capabilities that best suit any occasion.

Samsung's t609 comes in a stylish white exterior and is loaded with advanced features that make staying in touch a breeze. As a multimedia device, the t609 has an MP3 player and an external microSD(TM) memory slot allowing consumers to transfer favourite pictures and MP3 tunes and play them on the phone . The t609 also includes a video media player, 1.3 megapixel camera and camcorder .

The Samsung t209 is available in red and blue supports Yahoo and AIM instant messaging and offers a speakerphone, voice notes, MMS messaging, and the usual passel of bundles mini-applications like a stopwatch, phone book, alarm, calendar, and calculator .

The Samsung t319 offers a VGA camera with a 4x digital zoom, Yahoo, AIM, and ICQ messaging, text and picture messaging, a built-in Web browser, speakerphone, and external caller ID display .

The new Samsung phones are available immediately through T-Mobile retail locations and from Sporting a dark blue cover, Samsung’s t319 delivers the same multiple messaging options as the t209, with the added benefit of an integrated VGA digital camera with a four times digital zoom, allowing users to capture and share their favourite summer moments.
