L Amours Nokia 7370 Mobile Phone Launched

Mon, 20 Mar 2006

The Nokia 7370 belongs to the same product line-up. The L’Amour Collection consists of three cell phones that are selectively designed for the royalty, quite literally. These phones are far beyond the reach of Motorola or Samsung, as they pose a style of their own, something unique and never seen before.

The phone comes with a 1.3 mega pixel camera (with 8x digital zoom, 1280 x 960 pixels resolution) and features such as black and white, sepia and negative modes. It weighs 104 grams, talk time and standby time of up to three and 250 hours respectively.

The Nokia 7370 has a 180-degree rotator design with ergonomic tilt, FM tuner and 3D stereo speakers, but only a measely 10MB of built-in memory (not expandable, which is a drag).

The 7370 is a triband EGSM 900/GSM 1800/1900 set, with GPRS and EGPRS capability. It also boasts Blue tooth support (but no infrared), and comes in two colour schemes, which includes coffee brown and warm amber.

The exterior of the Nokia 7370 is nothing short of spectacular, as it packs a 240x320 resolution screen, 5-way scroll key, two soft keys, send and end keys, Camera key, volume/Zoom key and a dedicated key for landscape video camera mode.

If that's not cool enough for you, the phone also has a fabric tab on the side, matt metallic exterior and leather surface battery cover.

The phone also packs in a video recorder and player, supports JPEG, GIF, EXIF, WBMP, BMP, MBM and PNG image formats, the option to use saved pictures as screensavers and MPEG video playback and streaming.

The Nokia 7370 and its visual radio feature lets users listen to music and interact with music channels by finding out artist information, the ability to enter contests and surveys, and the facility to download the songs from the online music buying service directly to the phone. The Nokia 7370 cell phone supports MP3, AMR and MIDI audio formats.

Alastair Curtis, Vice President of design at Nokia's Mobile Phones Division, says "For many consumers, the mobile phone has truly become an extension of their personal style, it is now a fashion statement as well as an advanced communications device."

"Every detail of these products, from the nature-inspired graphics to the velvet-lined pouches, has been carefully considered with the style-conscious individual in mind. We're very confident that consumers who appreciate design and attention to detail will fall in love with the new collection," Curtis added.
