Shiny New LG Mobile Phone

Mon, 19 Mar 2007

LG has added one more mobile phone to its Black Label Series, called the LG ‘Shine’.

LG named its new phone LG ‘Shine’ because of its full metal body with a 2.2 inch LCD screen which is reflective and doubles up as a mirror. A feature which is very appealing to ladies to touch up their makeup when they are out and about.

"But unlike last year's Chocolate phone, the Shine is meant to appeal to men as well as women," LG says.

"The full metal finish, functionality and the ability to fit in a business shirt pocket mean the phone will appeal to men as well as women," said Carli Wilson of LG.

LG’s new handset features a 2 megapixel camera and video, a MP3/AAC/WMA music player and 512MB of memory .

The Shine also comes with Bluetooth, 3G and has High Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA ) capabilities with a dedicated video calling function.

Korea was the first country to launch the phone in October last year but the Australian version is the only 3G model of the phone to be on the market.

The Shine is available through Optus, Vodafone and 3 Mobile (U970).
