The
Sony Ericsson W880i
walkman phone announced last month will be offered by
network operators soon but
T-Mobile will be one of the first operators to offer this
phone on
contract .
The W880i has some special features such as a dedicated key button on the
handset which will provide a direct link to T-Mobile's
Mobile Jukebox service.
With the help of this button T-Mobile is hoping to push users to download songs for just £1 per track from its music store.
T-Mobile has also customised the handset to conform with its web'n'walk facility allowing users to view
internet pages on
screen .
The W880i will be
free with the purchase of T-Mobiles Flext 35
tariff .
Launched last month the phone has 16MB internal memory and 1GB
memory card to store music downloads and a 2 mega-pixel
camera for photographs and
videos .
The Sony Ericsson W880 is 9.4mm thick, the same as a
CD case and is said to be the slimmest
Sony Ericsson mobile phone yet.
For an extra £7.50 on top of the Flext 35 tariff, users will also be able to have unlimited internet access on the handset which will be available in black from T-Mobile stores and online at t.mobile.co.uk.
