Nokia has unveiled first details of the 6300i, the upgrade to its reliable and still popular 6300
handset .
The
Nokia 6300i has been spiced up to include a range of attractive features which Nokia hopes will make it an even more attractive proposition to
mobile users on a budget that its predecessor.
The stylish handset comes equipped with a 512Mb
memory card, Nokia Maps, an
Opera mini-browser for the
Internet, a 2.5mm audio-port and a QVGA 2inch display.
However, the phones stand-out features are the inclusion of
WiFi along with a fully integrated
VoIP service, enabling users to make free
Internet calls .
According to reports, users will even be able to see VoIP or WLAN symbols associated with their listed
phone numbers to identify what type of connection they refer to.
Nokia are yet to confirm a release date for the 6300i in the
UK, although prices for the handset are expected to be under £100.
