Samsung has unveiled its flagship mobile handset for 2009, the Tocco Ultra Edition .
The Ultra Edition Tocco, also known as the S8300, is the successor to the popular Tocco F480, which Samsung claims was the best-selling contract phone in the UK for the second half of 2008.
The Tocco Ultra comes equipped with an array of features including an 8MP camera with dual flash LED and face detection, a 2.8-inch touchscreen OLED display, 3.5G connectivity, GPS and HSDPA (7.2 Mbps).
A MicroSD slot for memory expansion up to 16GB is included to add to the meagre 75MB of storage space onboard, while Samsung fans will be pleased to see the usual TouchWiz interface, meaning widgets and separate menu screens will be present.
The stylish device can also record videos at 30FPS and play them back in a variety of formats, including DivX, Xvid and MPEG-4.
However, Samsungs latest mobile phone surprisingly lacks WiFi and a standard 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Tocco Ultra Edition is due to launch in the UK next month and should be available on most, if not all, of the UK networks .
