Mobile network operator T-Mobile has launched a new monthly tariff aimed at regular web users, according to reports.
The company’s new £40-a-month price plan comes with unlimited internet access and appears to be a refreshed offering of the Flext plan that was first introduced by T-Mobile in 2006.
T-Mobile believes the new data plan will help it continue its good start to 2009, which has seen a turnaround in last year's decline in contract customers.
Recent figures revealed that T-Mobile’s had a total of 16.8 million users at the end of 2008, down 3 per cent from 2007.
The new tariff is likely to be promoted alongside the company’s data/content-oriented mobile handsets such as the popular G1 Android phone .
