The much-hyped Sony Ericsson Xperia Play and LG Optimus 3D smartphones are now available for pre-order through online UK retailer Play.com.
The site lists the Optimus 3D with a release date of April 25 and a SIM free price tag of £514.99, while the Xperia Play has a March 28 release date and a slightly higher price tag of £519.99.
The two phones were unveiled at this months Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The Xperia Play was one of the hottest devices on show with visitors queuing up to test its gaming experience, which is enhanced through the inclusion of slide-out Playstation control pad.
Sony Ericssons latest mobile is the first PlayStation Certified smartphone, meaning it is capable of running vintage PSOne games and newer titles made for the firm by its network of mobile developers.
LGs Optimus 3D handset also made waves at MWC due to its use of 3D technology. It comes equipped with a glasses-free 3D screen, a 3D camera a HDMI-out port for TV connection.
