The Sony Ericsson Xperia Play is now available to pre-order through Vodafone and Tesco Mobile .
The smartphone is now showing with pre-order status on the Vodafone website and is expected to become available to all Vodafone UK customers on April 1st.
Customers can get their hands on the gaming device for free when they take out a two year, £35 a month contract, which comes with 900 minutes, unlimited texts and 750MB of data per month.
The handset will also come pre-loaded with six games, including The Sims 3, Tetris, Fifa 2010, Crash Bandicoot, Star Battalion and Bruce Lee.
Tesco is also offering the Xperia Play on a slightly cheaper £30 a month price plan.
However the Tesco deal, which is also on the Vodafone network, offers just 300 minutes, and 500 MB of mobile data, and does not include the free docking station that Vodafone provides.
