Vodafone has put the dual-core HTC Sensation smartphone up for pre-order online ahead of its exclusive launch on 19 May.
Customers will be able to get the Android handset for free on two-year contracts starting at £35 per month, which includes 900 minutes, unlimited texts and 750MB of mobile data allowance.
The HTC Sensation is the Taiwanese manufacturers first dual-core smartphone and replaces the HTC Desire HD as the companys flagship device.
The mobile is powered by Qualcomm MSM 8260 1.2GHz dual-core processor together with 768MB of RAM. It comes with a 4.3in Super LCD screen with 540x960 resolution and also packs 1GB of internal storage together with an 8GB micro SD card, and an 8-megapixel camera with dual LED flash and HD video recording capability.
Android fans will be happy to know that the Sensation runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, together with the latest version of its Sense user interface (sense 3.0)
The HTC Sensation is expected to be a big hit when it goes on sale later this month, but will face strong competition from the likes of the LG Optimus 2X, Motorola Atrix and the Samsung Galaxy S II .
