Virgin Mobile has launched a new, ultra-cheap mobile phone the £9.99 VM560.
Manufactured by Alcatel One Touch, the black candy bar handset is a very low-end phone although it does pack a 2 megapixel camera, an MP3 player and FM radio, and a microSD card slot that can handle up to 8GB cards.
It is also WiFi enabled, allowing users to access social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter for free.
The £9.99 price is available with a £10 pay as you go SIM that comes with 300 text messages bundled in. Non-WiFi web access costs 50p per day for 50MB.
The VM560 is available to purchase direct from Virgin Mobile. A pink version of the phone will also be released on 19 September.
