The LG KU990, otherwise known as the ‘LG viewty’ is simply a breathtaking handset. The phone is a perfect combination of innovative technology and stunning looks.
Its LCD touchscreen user interface combined with the most up-to-date technology caters for a little of everything. A 5 megapixel camera twinned with a quality video camera, FM radio and MP3 player are just a few of the components that make up this phone. It even has HSDPA which mean broadband internet speeds and plenty of memory.
In terms of camera quality, the 5 megapixel camera not only comes equipped with a Schneider-Kreuznach certified lens but also a manual focus option and a xenon flash, enabling you to have complete control over your photos. The editing software also allows you to enhance your photos before uploading them onto the internet or even directly onto YouTube if you like via 3G technology.
By capturing up to 120 frames per second, the video recorder is equally as impressive, providing higher quality videos than any other camera phone previously on the market. The large touch screen makes it attractive to look, easier to navigate and is very user friendly.
The key advantage of the Viewty’s music player is that it can handle almost every music format. With an optional choice of using stereo Bluetooth or mono headphones to list to music or the inbuilt radio, high quality entertainment on the go is guaranteed.
If there were anything to look out for with this phone, it would just be the battery life. The large screen means that the battery life is not as long as some of the other phones on the market. However, when comparing the Viewty to other touchscreen phones such as the Prada or the iPhone, it comes out on top and is definitely one of the best all-in-one mobile phones on the market.
Put into context, it is arguably the best phone so far from LG and is definitely worth looking at for those who want the looks of the iPhone combined with the usability and price of the Nokia N95.
