Orange Customers Offered Free Movie Rentals Form iTunes

Mobile phone operator Orange has launched a new movie download service in partnership with iPhone maker Apple .
Through the Orange Film To Go scheme, Orange customers can download a free film from iTunes every Thursday by simply texting a special Film To Go code from their handsets, and then watch said movie on their home PC, laptop or Apple iOS -based devices such as the iPhone or iPad. The text message will cost users 35p.
Once downloaded, the films will be available for 30 days, or 48 hours from when the film is first watched.
The new scheme builds on the hugely successful Orange Wednesdays promotion, which offers 2 for 1 cinema tickets to the Orange users every Wednesday.
“We know Orange customers love film, so adding the Orange Film To Go service to our existing portfolio of film offers is hugely exciting for us”, said Spencer McHugh, brand director at Orange UK.
“Giving our valued customers a film download every week to enjoy at home or out and about on a mobile device is a great way to thank them for being part of Orange .”
“We’ve got some fantastic titles lined up for the launch and even more yet to be announced, so we’re hoping to see a significant number of our customers taking up this offer.”
