The HTC ChaCha and Salsa – the latest handsets from the Taiwanese phone maker – will go on sale in the UK in June, according to reports.
The two Facebook-themed phones, which were unveiled at Mobile World Congress, are now available for pre-order via online retailer Expansys, which has listed a shipping date of June 17.
No specific dates have been given by mobile operators Orange, Vodafone and T-Mobile, who last week confirmed that they will be offering the Android-based mobiles in the UK.
The HTC ChaCha runs Android 2.4 Gingerbread and features a Qwerty keyboard, a 2.6-inch capacitative touchscreen, a 5 megapixel camera and a dedicated Facebook button, which allows users to shares status updates, photos and check-ins with their online friends.
The Gingerbread software and Facebook button are also features of the HTC Salsa, although the smartphone is a full touchscreen device.
