Samsung set to unveil new Galaxy Note mobile phone

Samsung looks set to unveil its latest Galaxy Note mobile phone later this month.
A spokesman for the manufacturer said the new device will be revealed at the Samsung Mobile Unpacked event, which is taking place in Berlin on August 29th, Reuters reports.
Such a move would see the company unveiling its latest offering around two weeks before rival Apple is expected to debut its new iPhone.
The representative did not offer up any further details about the release, although media reports in South Korea point to the handset featuring a larger display – at 5.5 inches – which has been designed to never break.
In addition, it is anticipated that the upgrade will boast a much quicker processor and an improved camera.
Apple’s fifth instalment of its iPhone, however, is not due to be released until October at the earliest – and the manufacturer will be hoping the new version is a huge success as it looks to catch up to Samsung after the South Korean firm recently established itself as the largest smartphone maker in the world.
