Research In Motion (RIM), the Canadian Blackberry manufacturer, has unveiled the next generation of its popular BlackBerry Curve smartphones .
The Curve 9350, 9360 and 9370 mobiles run the latest version of RIM's BlackBerry operating system, BlackBerry 7 OS, and according to the firm are the most stylish Curve handsets to date.
The phones also come with new social functions which include updated Twitter and Facebook for BlackBerry apps and a brand new version of the company's Social Feeds application, which posts all social network updates into one convenient location and has Universal Search integration.
RIM has also included the use of NFC (Near Field Communications) technology, which allows mobile users to wirelessly pay for things like train tickets by simply waving their phone in front of a special contactless reader.
Additional features of the Blackberry Curve 9350, 9360 and 9370 include a 2.44" HVGA+ (480×360) display, backlit QWERTY keyboard, 5MP camera with flash, WiFi, Bluetooth, A-GPS, and an 800MHz processor.
The smartphones are expected to launch in the UK next month, although details on an exact release date and pricing are yet to be confirmed.
