Tesco has added the Nokia N900 smartphone to its line-up of mobile handsets available at its supermarket phone shops .
The Maemo-powered N900 is being offered by the supermarket chain on the £30 a month Vodafone Your Plan 300 tariff, which includes 300 minutes, unlimited texts and unlimited internet access.
It features a sleek 3.4-inch touchscreen display, a five-megapixel camera, QWERTY keyboard, multiple, fully customisable, home screens, plenty of storage space and support for Flash Adobe 9.4.
The N900 has also recently been updated to enable video calling with Skype and Facebook IM chat, together with email and calendar enhancements.
Commenting on the launch, a Tesco spokesperson said: “We are delighted to welcome the N900 into our current portfolio of mobile phones as one of the most advanced mobile computers we now offer.”
“The N900 marks a further step forward to providing our customers with a greater variety of choice at highly competitive price points.”
