Samsung has revealed that it’s recently confirmed White Galaxy Nexus handset will be officially released in the UK early next month.
The new model sports flashy white panelling but comes with the same high-end spec-list as its black counterpart, which includes a 4.65-inch Super AMOLED HD display with a 1280 x 720p resolution alongside a 1.2GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 1GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage.
There’s also a 5-megapixel camera with 1080p Full HD video recording capabilities on the rear and a second 1.3-megapixel snapper on the front, as well as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC capabilities.
The critically acclaimed smartphone is also the first to run Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) – the latest version of Google’s mobile OS.
In terms of availability, UK mobile phone retailers MobileFun and Clove will be the first to offer the White Samsung Galaxy Nexus (16GB) from the 6th of February for £519.95 and £498 (including VAT) respectively.
