Nokia has unveiled the latest mobile phone in its Asha range, which is set for release at the end of June.
The Asha 210 handset comes with its own dedicated WhatsApp button to bring consumers fast and easy access to instant messaging, while it is also available in Single or Easy Swap Dual-SIM variants.
As it is a budget device, the mobile will cost around $72 (£47), but no details have yet been announced about when it will be launched in the UK.
According to Timo Toikkanen, executive vice-president of mobile phones at the Finnish firm, said the Nokia Asha 210 “really stands out” in that it gives super-social consumers new ways to express their personalities through colour and innovation.
“It has been designed to allow people to easily update their social networks, stay in touch with friends and share user created content,” he added.
The handset also helps owners enjoy more affordable internet access, by using Nokia’s cloud technology to reduce data consumption by up to 90 per cent.
Other features of the Asha 210 include a preloaded YouTube launcher and chat screen notifications.
