BlackBerry fans in the UK will be able to get their hands on the company’s upcoming Q10 handset this April, it has been confirmed.
After being officially unveiled alongside the BlackBerry Z10, which was released last week (January 30th), the Canadian firm announced it expects the first global carriers to launch the phone in the spring.
However, it has yet to reveal what the pricing structure and availability information of the device will be and said: “We are working closely with our carrier partners to accelerate their testing process, but cannot offer any specifics on US availability.”
The smartphone is set to come with a 3.1-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display with a 720 by 720 resolution, while it will also boast the trademark BlackBerry QWERTY keyboard.
Weighing a modest 139g and measuring 10.4mm wide, consumers will benefit from 2GB of random access memory and 16GB of internal storage, as well as a microSD slot.
Meanwhile, it was recently reported that the first supply of BlackBerry 10 handsets sold out in Phones 4u stores during its first weekend of sales.
