The eagerly awaited Samsung Omnia 7 smartphone is now available for pre-order through T-Mobile .
The latest Samsung mobile, which is also among the first batch of Windows Phone 7 devices to be released, can be purchased direct from T-Mobile or via an approved reseller.
T-Mobile is offering the WP7 handset on 18 or 24-month contracts, with tariffs ranging from £10 to £40.
A £35 per month, two-year deal comes with 900 minutes, 500 texts and unlimited internet, and there is no handset charge.
The Omnia 7 is also available through Buymobilephones.net on a £25 a month, two-year tariff which includes 600 minutes, 500 texts and 1GB mobile data.
The Samsung Omnia 7 runs Microsoft’s’ much-anticipated Windows Phone 7 OS and boasts a 4-inch Super AMOLED display with 800×480 resolution, a 1GHz Qualdcomm QSD8250 processor and a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus, LED flash and HD recording capabilities.
It also features built-in Zune music and video player, push email and Microsoft Office packages.
A range of Windows Phone 7 handsets are set to launch in the UK later this week. Among these will be the HTC 7 Mozart, the HTC 7 Trophy, the HTC HD7 and the LG Optimus 7.
