The Nokia C7 smartphone has arrived in the UK, with the handset available for pre-order sim-free from the Finnish manufacturer’s online store (shop.nokia.co.uk).
Customers can buy Nokia’s second Symbian^3 phone for £389 on PAYG or get the handset ‘free’ by taking out a £25 a month, two-year contract with either Vodafone or T-Mobile .
The T-Mobile deal gives users 600 anytime minutes, 500 texts and 1GB mobile internet, while the Vodafone offer comes with 300 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB mobile data.
First orders for the sleek mid-range handset through Nokia will ship from Monday 25 October. The C7 will also be available to buy directly from O2, Three Mobile, Virgin Mobile, Vodafone, T-Mobile, The Carphone Warehouse and Phones4u from 1 November.
The mid-range smartphone comes equipped with a 3.5-inch Amoled touchscreen, an 8 megapixel HD capable camera, Web TV and 8GB internal storage (expandable by 32GB via microSD ). The device runs Symbian^3, and includes a host of social network features such as rolling networking updates and one touch access to email accounts.

The launch of the C7 follows the UK release of the much-hyped Nokia N8, which is available sim free from the Nokia Store for £429, or on PAYG and pay monthly deals through Three, Vodafone, T-Mobile and O2 .
