
The recently unveiled iPhone 4S will be available on all of the major UK networks when it launches in the UK.
T-Mobile, O2, keywordVodafone, Three and Orange have all confirmed that they will offer the iPhone 4S to their UK customers, with all of them saying that the handset will arrive sooner than the October 14 release date stated by Apple.
High street retailers Carphone Warehouse and Phones4U will also offer the smartphone, with both adding iPhone 4S registration pages to their websites.
However, Virgin Media, Tesco Mobile and Talkmobile are yet to indicate whether they will bring the latest version of the iconic handset to the UK market.
In terms of improvements on the iPhone 4, the 4S boasts a new A5 dual-core processor, up to 64GB storage – double that of its predecessor, and a 8MP camera with a hybrid IR filter and a larger aperture for more detailed, cleaner photos.
The new camera will also be better at shooting in low light conditions, and users will be able to crop and edit snaps on their mobile thanks to the inclusion of a new Apple Photo app.
Details on how much the iPhone 4S will cost on pay monthly tariffs have yet to be announced, but we do know that the SIM free prices will from £499.
