
Orange customers will soon be able to get hands on the latest HTC smartphone – the HTC Once X – after the network operator announced it will carry the handset when it arrives in the UK later this week.
Orange said it will offer the One X for free on its two-year £41 per month contract, which provides 900 minutes of anytime calls, 1GB of monthly mobile data and unlimited texts, from this Thursday (April 5).
The HTC handset, which is set to become the Taiwanese phone manufacturer’s latest flagship offering, will also be available on the same price plan from Vodafone and on monthly tariffs from T-Mobile .
The HTC One X boasts an array of high-end features including a 1.5GHz NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor, an 8-megapixel camera with 1080p Full HD video recording capabilities and a large 4.7-inch super LCD touchscreen display with a stunning 1280 x 720p resolution.
It also comes with a packed with front facing 1.3 megapixel camera which is capable of 720p video, 32GB of internal storage, Beats audio technology and runs the latest Android software – Android 4.0 ‘Ice Cream Sandwich’ – together with HTC Sense 4.0.
