T-Mobile has finally joined its rivals in confirming pricing for the new Samsung Galaxy S3 smartphone .
The operator is the last of the main UK networks to announce its price plans for the handset which is due to go be officially release in the UK on May 30.
The good news is that T-Mobile customers will be able to pick up the phone on its new 24-month Full Monty price plan, which includes unlimited data, texts and calls to other T-Mobile customers, as well as 2,000 minutes every month to any other networks – all for £36 a month. However, customers will also need to pay £49.99 for the handset itself.
In fact, unlike its competitors the Galaxy S3 will not be available for free on any of T-Mobile’s monthly tariffs.
The S3 was unveiled in London earlier this month, where it was announced as the new flagship phone of the South Korean manufacturer, and the official phone of the London 2012 Olympic Games.
The mobile comes equipped with a host of high-end features including a stunning 4.8-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display, a 1.4GHz quad-core Exynos processor, an 8MP camera with with 1080p HD video, a 1.9MP front-facing camera, up to 64GB of storage and HSDPA and WiFi connectivity.
It runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and also includes some clever new extras such as Pop-up Play, Smart Stay and ‘S Voice’ – Samsung’s rival to Apple’s Siri personal assistant service.
