Motorola’s latest Android-powered smartphone is now on sale in the UK following its launch in the US last year.
The Razr HD is sure to sell out quickly, as it boasts a 4.7-inch super active-matrix organic light-emitting diode high-definition screen, the latest 4.1 Jelly Bean software and is 4G-ready.
Other features of the handset include a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of random access memory, 16GB of internal storage – which is expandable via a microSD card – and an eight-megapixel camera with LED flash.
Andrew Morley, vice-president and general manager for UK &Ireland at Motorola Mobility, said: “As our lives get busier, we need a handset that can keep up with the pace and with that in mind, the Motorola Razr HD was born.”
Consumers are most likely to be drawn in by the device’s extraordinary battery power, as people are able to chat on the phone for up to 16 hours, listen to music for 20 hours and browse the web for six hours. And with the added bonus of the Android Smartactions app, users will be able to extend their battery life further.
