Consumers hoping to get their hands on the Asus Padfone 2 hybrid tablet can now do so for the affordable price of £599 on Ebuyer.
The tablet – which is nicknamed the Padfone 2 Station – comes with a 10.1-inch screen that has a 1,280 x 800-pixel resolution with Corning Gorilla glass and a built-in battery, IT Pro Portal reports.
It could be the ideal device for people who have been eyeing up its bigger brother, the Asus Padfone Infinity, but are unable to shell out a higher amount.
While the Padfone 2 isn’t quite as high-end as the Infinity gadget, which was unveiled at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona last week (February 25th-28th), it does have a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro system on a chip that runs at 1.5GHz, 32GB of onboard storage, 2GB of random access memory and a 13-megapixel camera that can snap up to 100 shots in one go.
Owners of the tablet are also likely to be impressed with its battery life, which stands at 16 hours and can be extended to 32 due to battery found on the docking station.
