The HTC 7 PRO smartphone is to finally go on sale in UK next month, the mobile maker has announced.
The handset was unveiled by HTC last October along with several other Windows phone 7 devices and was initially expected to be released by Christmas.
It is now set to arrive at the end of February and be available at an average SIM free price of £438.
The HTC 7 PRO comes with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a 3.6 inch, tilting, WVGA capacitive touch screen and a 5 megapixel camera with automatic flash and focus.
It is powered by a 1GHZ Qualcomm processor and also includes advanced audio features such as Dolby Mobile, 8GB on-board storage and WiFi, bluetooth, and 3G connectivity.
The business-designed phone also lets users open and edit Microsoft Office documents and manage corporate emails through Outlook.
UK consumers who cannot wait a month to get their hands on the HTC 7 Pro can visit online retailer Expansys, which is already offering the smartphone on 24 and 18-month contracts with Vodafone, starting from £30.65 a month.
Expansys is also offering the device SIM-free for £459.99.
