Motorola Atrix Set For May Release

The much anticipated Atrix Android smartphone from Motorola is set to go on sale in the UK this spring, according to latest reports.
Speaking to mobile phone website DialToSave, a contact at commented that the dual-core Atrix, labelled as “the world’s most powerful smartphone”, is expected to be available from May 2011.
Once available, the mobile will launch on pay monthly deals with Orange, who have secured UK exclusivity on the handset .
The Motorola Atrix comes equipped with NVIDIA’s dual-core Tegra 2 processor, a 4 inch 960 x 540 HD display, a 5 megapixel camera with HD video capture, 1080p video playback, HSDPA and WiFi connectivity, up to 32GB of storage and a huge 1930mAh battery.
The Android 2.2 smartphone, which was unveiled at of CES 2011, can also be transformed into a mobile computer or a big screen, high definition media player by attaching the device to different docking stations.
