The HTC ChaCha smartphone has landed on the Three UK network and is now available to buy on a number of pay monthly plans or on Pay as You Go (PAYG) deals.
The new Facebook-centric handset is free on the One Plan, which gives 2,000 any-network minutes, 5,000 Three-to-Three minutes, 5,000 text messages and all-you-can-eat data data for £29 a month.
For £20 a month – the cheapest plan available – customers get 300 minutes, 5,000 texts, and 500 MB of data each month, while the middle option (Text 500) comes with 500 minutes, 5,000 texts and 1GB internet .
For those who are a fan of contract deals, Three UK is also offering the HTC smartphone on PAYG for £249.99.
Customers can choose between the All in One 15 plan for £15, which includes 300 minutes and all-you-can-eat data, and the All in One 25 plan for £25 which provides an extra 200 minutes.
The HTC ChaCha features a 2.6-inch 480×320 capacitive touchscreen, a full physical QWERTY keyboard, an 800 MHz processor, a 5MP autofocus camera with LED flash, a front-facing VGA camera and a dedicated Facebook button which lets users instantly share content with friends and family.
The mobile runs Android 2.3 ‘Gingerbread’, along with HTC’s Sense UI, and also includes 512 MB of RAM, microSD card support, HSPA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and a 1250 mAh battery.
